What is humidity? Have you ever been in a place that is very unpleasant which is hot and sticky and no matter what you do you can't seem to cool off? there is a high chance that that place is humid because of the unpleasant feeling. The reason why you feel sticky and hot is that the amount of water vapour in the air is high and it can affect the weather and the climate.

There are three types of humidity measurement, which is:

  1. Specific humidity: the ratio of water vapour in the atmosphere to the air content on a mass basis

  1. Relative humidity: measurement of current humidity concerning a given temperature.

In general, mostly for indoor humidity, the measurement will be measured in relative humidity which expressed in percentage.
